Brown and Root and Enron both used their political connections to call in favors and earn handsome profits. But no company has used Washington insiders to reap huge windfalls like the powerful investment firm, the Carlyle Group. Carlyle treats the highest levels of government like one big recruiting pool. They hire politicians and policymakers straight out of office and, in return, those figures exploit their inside knowledge of the system.

Back in the late 80s, for instance, Carlyle brought newly retired defense secretary Frank Carlucci on as CEO. Carlucci parlayed his Pentagon expertise and his defense industry connections to buy up undervalued arms companies. When the Gulf War hit, Carlyle made billions.
One of Carlyle’s heaviest political hitters is former president George HW Bush. In 1998, Bush Sr. traveled to the Middle East and convinced the family of Osama Bin Laden to put millions into Carlyle’s investment business. On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, the Carlyle Group was having its yearly meeting of investors. Because of his family’s investment, Osama Bin Laden’s brother, Shafig Bin Laden was at the gathering and he watched the Twin Towers fall on television with ex-secretary of state James Baker, Frank Carlucci, and other government officials turned Carlyle employees. Former President Bush had just left, either that morning or the night before.

Some other examples of public sector employees turned Carlyle staffers include: Arthur Leavitt, ex-head of the SEC; William Canard, ex-chair of the FCC; and John Major, the former Prime Minister of England. These ex-officials, and many others, give Carlyle huge advantages in dealing with governments all over the world.

Go Warren. He is a rare good man amoung the hyper rich. He knows that the plans of those who now seek to crash the world economies. Will ultimately fail in their plans for authoritarian rule. Particularlly in the USA.
Todays autocrats and plutocrats will ultimately fail at their full power grab. The seek a world of eugenics,complete control and monitoring of everyone but themselves.
Right now they are crashing the economies of the Balkan states and plan to move out from there. They are sharpening their economic crash courses on the most vulnerable of these newly westernized nations.
With what they learn, they will bring to bear on the EU and USA. An economic crash in the Western World. That will collapse the money reserves of the asian nations too.
Already Russia has burned through one third of their once fat cushion of dollar denominated of currency reserves. China is also burning through their dollar denominated currency reserves. Trying to feed and cut checks to tens of millions of now unemployed workers.
Workers who have begun to riot on a smale scale and frighten the Chinese rulers to their bones. If a couple of hundred milion workers begin to riot. The chinese goverment will fall .Just as the mavens of Wall Street have meticusiously planned.
The raft of Unconstitutional laws that have been passed in the US and hundreds of billion dollars given without even a review period of the 1100 page Bill are going to fail ultimately.
Whether we take to the street or bring down todays Robber Barons in a different manner, things are going to get interesting and hot.
Just this past week Obama broke another campaingn promise. One that is heineious, antithetical to the Judeo- Christian Ethic. Discusting and to the core reminesent of the NAZI SS. Obama in court through his Attorney Generals Office, invoked the States Secrets Act. Meaning those rendered illegally and in cases of mistaken identity, cannot sue for damages or have crimminal charges brought against the Federal Goverment.
Have you seen in the Constitution a clause for State Secrets, that holds harmless the federal goverment for illegal acts and the torture of innocents in cases of mistaken idenity.I can’t find it. Can you?
Look at Obama’s close circle of economic advisors in the National Economic Council. Mostly retreads.Paul Volker, head of the Federal Reserve Bank, from 1979 to 1987.Larry Summers, Secretary of the Treasury under for a few years of the Clinton Administration. He now heads the National Economic Council that Constitutionally answers to no one.
Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner. Former head of the New York Federal Reserve. Is doing such a good job of looking after our money. In redacted contracts with the peoples money. We can’t see. But were promised transparency.
All these people dropped the ball and forced through the latest bailout of the banks, that should be nationalized, under the FDIC. There was no time for Obama, who took a weekend vacation and Congress to read the Bill they passed.
You see they want the nation to go broke, so they can declare Martial Law, when our anger spills out to the street. That is also why gun control and the right to gun siezures is being fast tracked through Congress.And rebuffed by the states.
Obama promised no lobbyist’s in goverment employ for two years.Once they left their lobby jobs Yet the new Assistant Secretary of Defense was the head lobbbyist and in charge of Raytheons army of lobbyists for defense contractor Raytheon. HMMMM??? He goes by the name of William Lynn.He will be in charge of the day to day operations of the DOD.Can you say conflict of interest? I sure can.
But the states as slow as they are to move are moving. 22 states have asserted or are about to assert states rights under the 9th and 10th Amendments. Puting a wall up in front of Washingtons and todays Robber Barons. To paraphrase rights not explicitly given to the federal goverment, reside solely with the states.
States are pissed that Bush federalized the National Guard. Putting them in Iraq and therefore unavailable to work the Western fires and floods in the Midwest this past summer. Moreover leaving the states without assets for diasaters and worn out equipment. That will cost untold billions and years to repair.They are not at all happy with Washington’s Unconstitutional power grabs. Usurping Constitutional state rights.
Bush increased over his 8 years term, the long term deficits by 70%. Obama in a month has increased the deficits another 65% in a month. Wall Street is again fat and happy are you?
The bat guano is beginning to fly. That is good the fifty states are beginning to push back at DC. 50 t0 1 and the Constiution on the states side. The Federal goverment will declare Martial Law sometime in the future. I do not in light of recent state events believe DC can overcome the people and a 50 to 1 ratio of state rights.
These times are good for the formation of a strong third party.But it is later than you think.

SHORT AND CRIMMINALY BITTERSWEEET
Did you know that the Carlyle Group aside from their meteoric rise in income, power, influence and reach, under the Bush Regime. Bought interests in some railroads a few years back.
Specifically, they bought the rights to all the railroads coming in and out of Mexico to 200 miles inside our borders.
Why did they do that? To make money and control border access from Mexico. Where many of the hundreds of thousands of ILLEGAL CRIMMINALS enter the USA. By riding atop railcars to gain access to the USA. After paying a Coyote a large sum of money to ride the rail cars into the USA. So they can pick crops for the Carlyle Groups huge interest in Big AG.Picking the crops at less than minimum wage and having to buy food and have housing, that they pay to the Carlyle Group At Company Town set prices.
Making it hardly worth the trip to the USA. After paying the Coyotes, seeing their women raped and paying Company Town prices for life’s needs. On top of low wages and absurdly long work hours, and working and living situations that are deplorable. Sounds like a job for federal law enforcement agencies. But of course they do nothing to a nearly 100 billion dollar company.With huge political influence.
A company that breaks all kinds of labor and immigration laws. The company can arrage the dearh of those who probe too deeply into their affairs. Conviently, it is a private company and thus shielded from many investigated triggers. That a public company faces. How convienet.
Bush helped make them an enormous company with incredible cash resources. That help keep their lawbreaking out of the public eye.Their growth and profits at absurd levels.
The cash they have help grease, canidates on a state and federal level. To insure they can operate outside of the law.
They know damn well the evils the coyotes use to prey upon and harm these destitute ILLEGALS coming to America..
When I was in high school and college, I picked crops to help pay my way. With our economy in the tank. It is high time we bussed the 15 million ILLEGALS back to the border. Opening up jobs for Americans. If we can fight multiple illegal wars, we can bus the drain on our economy and healthcare system, of the illegals back to Mexico and points south.
It is also high time that the Federal AG office and the FBI to do some digging into the Carlyle Groups illegal activites, that are pro forma for the company. The group is a law breaker of enormous magnitude. This must end and their political influence must be stopped.
Write your state and federal legislators. If enough e- mail comes in, they will act. They are most afraid of CITIZENS when they get pissed and bombard them with millions of mail and e-mails.
